State Highway 73
73 號國道是連接基督城（Christchurch）和 Hokitika 的道路，冬季時，Porters 到 Arthur’s Pass 路段經常封閉，其中 Arthur’s Pass 到 Otira 因道路碎石頻繁，是全國最危險的路段。

Castle Hill
Castle Hill，海拔 700 公尺，位於 73 號國道 Darfield 和 Arthur’s Pass 之間、Kura Tawhiti 保護區內。因為該地區的石灰石巨石陣，令人聯想到一座破舊的石頭城堡而命名。2005 年，《納尼亞傳奇：獅子·女巫·魔衣櫥》（The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe）在這取景拍攝而爆紅。

Lake Pearson
Arthur’s Pass National Park, Railway Station (TranzAlpine)
Arthur’s Pass National Park，成立於 1929 年，是南島第一個、紐西蘭第三個國家公園，並以紐西蘭最危險的國家公園之一聞名。它被 73 號國道一分為二，是南阿爾卑斯山脈中海拔最高的通道。
Otira Viaduct
Otira Viaduct 位於 Otira 以南，Otira 和 Arthur’s Pass 之間。McConnell Smith Pty 公司於 1999 年完工，長 440 公尺的高架橋，取代了原本狹窄彎曲，容易發生雪崩、土石鬆動的危險路段。
kea 是啄羊鸚鵡科 Nestoridae 家族中數量最龐大的鸚鵡，出沒於紐西蘭南島的森林和高山地區。長約 48 公分，外觀大多呈橄欖綠，翅膀上有一片鮮豔的橙色，並有一個灰棕色大而彎曲的喙。牠是世界上唯一的高山鸚鵡，因謠傳牠們會啄食綿羊等牲畜，而遭到農場主人獵殺，進而導致瀕臨絕種。1986 年，受到《野生動物法》（Wildlife Act）保護，不得追捕、殺害、食用或佔有。
Hokitika Glow-worm Dell
Glow-worm Dell 位於 Hokitika 小鎮北部，在 Shining Star Beachfront Accommodation 的馬路對面。這是一個小樹林，距離入口不到三分鐘的步行路程就可以看到螢火蟲。
